One person was injured in a house fire Thursday night in the western Las Vegas Valley.
The fire at a two-story house in the 100 block of Huntly Road near Buffalo and Westcliffe drives has been contained, with one occupant hospitalized for minor injuries due to smoke inhalation, according to a tweet by Las Vegas Fire & Rescue. Five adults were reportedly displaced by the fire.
The fire reportedly started at around 9:30 p.m. on the second floor, and grew so large that firefighters were ordered out of the house. Officials don't know what caused the fire yet, but are investigating.
