2 men arrested after police chase, crash in NLV

Two men were arrested Tuesday night after leading North Las Vegas police on a car chase that ended when they crashed into another vehicle and attempted to flee on foot.

The occupants of the other car suffered minor injuries in the crash, according to North Las Vegas Police spokesman Aaron Patty, and the suspects were caught after a brief foot chase.

The suspect's car was initially pulled over for a traffic stop at around 7 p.m. in the 3300 block of Bilicki Street, near Cheyenne Avenue and Allen Lane, Patty said. They then drove off, striking a police cruiser in the process.

They were chased by police westbound on Cheyenne Avenue before they crashed into another vehicle at Cheyenne and Rancho Drive, about a mile from where the chase started.

No other details have been released.
