UNLV students cheer during their Mountain West Conference game against New Mexico Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014 at the Thomas & Mack Center. New Mexico won the game 68-56.

UNLV is likely going to have to work for its desired matchup with Duke in November.

The Coaches vs. Cancer Classic today announced the pairings for the championship round games on Nov. 21 and 22 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. UNLV will play Stanford at 4 p.m. Las Vegas time on Friday with Duke and Temple set to tip a half hour after that game finishes.

The winners will meet in the nightcap on Saturday following the consolation game. All the games will air on truTV.

The chance to play the Blue Devils for the first time since the 1991 Final Four was a big incentive for the Rebels to get into the event, which benefits the American Cancer Society’s fight against cancer. In order to get that matchup, UNLV will likely have to win, as Duke will surely be the favorite in its game.

Similar to other tournaments, all four teams will host a pair of games at home against other opponents leading into the event.

Tickets to the games at the Barclays Center are available through Ticketmaster, Coaches vs. Cancer, Barclays Center or by calling 800-745-3000.
