Injury crash
Three people were taken to a hospital after a driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed through a wall at the Tarkanian Basketball Academy on Saturday morning, Metro Police said.
Police said an 18-year-old man driving a green Isuzu Rodeo around 7:30 a.m. went too fast into a curve and lost control, crashing into the northeast corner of the building, 2730 S. Rancho Drive in Las Vegas. Officers and medical personnel found that the car had penetrated halfway through the wall.
The driver suffered facial fractures and was taken to University Medical Center along with the two passengers, who had minor injuries.
The driver was cited for traffic violations, Metro Lt. Mike Wallace said.
