Man arrested in stabbing death in North Las Vegas

North Las Vegas Police arrested a man Tuesday suspected of stabbing and killing a 54-year-old man after a fight at the victim’s apartment, authorities said.

William Robinson, 52, was arrested on one count of murder with a deadly weapon and on an outstanding misdemeanor traffic warrant, police said.

The victim was found dead inside his apartment about 12:50 p.m. Monday in the 2400 block of Weber Street.

Police believe Robinson knew the victim and was visiting his home on Monday when they began arguing, North Las Vegas Police spokeswoman Chrissie Coon said. The argument escalated into a fight, and Robinson allegedly stabbed the victim multiple times, Coon said.

The incident remains under investigation.

Anyone with information is urged to call North Las Vegas Police at 633-9111 or to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
