Molasky Family Park
A man was shot and injured Sunday night after a gang-related altercation with a group of people in Molasky Family Park, police said.
Metro Police responded about 6:30 p.m. to reports of gunshots fired at the park on Twain Avenue and Cambridge Street. Officers arrived to find a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, Metro spokeswoman Laura Meltzer said.
The man was transported to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center trauma in critical condition.
Detectives in Metro's gang unit are investigating the shooting.
