The writer of the Thursday letter “Find a cure for the virus of greed” begins by excoriating the deposed Ukrainian president for the luxurious life he was living.
Then the writer inexplicably makes a hard turn left and compares that to the favorite progressive whipping boy in this country, the evil 1 percent. He misses the mark.
A better comparison would be with our ever-vacationing, always-golf-playing, high-living Barack Obama.
Of course, the writer has fully bought into the class warfare game, where everyone is encouraged to hate, mistrust and vilify the rich.
OK then, what about “poor” George Soros? Al Gore? Bill and Hillary Clinton? Harry Reid, who started out as a poor boy from Searchlight and now is a millionaire?
Are just the rich Republicans evil? To the streets, indeed.
