Motorhome blaze

Gary Baxter was working in his backyard about noon today when he smelled smoke coming from one of his motorhomes.

Within minutes, the motorhome caught fire, causing a plume of black smoke to rise in the Las Vegas Valley sky. The flames spread to a second motorhome, a shed and a trailer in Baxter’s yard at 8435 Fairfield Ave. before Clark County Fire extinguished it, Battalion Chief Thomas Touchstone said.

No one was injured in the fire. Clark County Fire is working to determine the cause and damage of the blaze.
