Downtown shooting
One person was injured in a shooting today near downtown Las Vegas.
Metro Police responded about 1:30 p.m. to the shooting in the 1800 block of Lewis Avenue, near Charleston Boulevard and Bruce Street. One person with a gunshot wound was transported to University Medical Center in unknown condition, police said.
Metro is investigating the incident and is searching for any possible suspects.
