51s explode for 21 hits, beat Salt Lake by double digits

Andrew Brown went 3 for 4 with five runs scored today for the Las Vegas 51s, hitting one of five home runs in a 21-hit attack for a 16-4 victory against host Salt Lake.

Las Vegas scored five runs in the fourth inning and six runs in the eighth, receiving home runs from Brown, Allan Dykstra, Zach Lutz, Taylor Teagarden and Brandon Allen.

Allen went 5 for 6, Lutz posted five RBIs and three hits, and just one Las Vegas batter failed to record a hit. Eric Campbell doubled twice and scored three runs.

The 51s (23-10) will go for the series sweep against Salt Lake at 5:35 p.m. Friday. Las Vegas is back at Cashman Field Saturday for a four-game series with Tacoma, the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners.
