Metro seeks help identifying bank robbery suspect

This man robbed a bank on May 13, 2014, in the area of Windmill Lane and Eastern Avenue.

Metro Police are on the hunt for a bank robber.

Detectives are searching for a man who robbed a bank near Windmill Lane and Eastern Avenue at 1:10 p.m. May 13, according to a Metro press release.

The man slid a teller a note demanding money, the teller complied and the robber fled, police said.

Detectives are seeking the public’s help identifying the suspect, who was caught on camera.

The suspect is thought to be about 5 feet 8 inches tall, black, bald, unshaven and 180 to 200 pounds, according to the release. He was last seen sporting sunglasses, a black button-up jacket, black pants and black shoes, police said.

Anyone with information is being asked to call the Metro Police Robbery Section at (702) 828-3591, or to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555. A cash reward may be available to anyone providing information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
