las vegas 51s:

51s still lone Triple-A team with 30-plus wins

Here’s how good the Las Vegas 51s have been in the initial two months of the season: Despite losing today 6-3 at Fresno for their fourth defeat in five games, the 51s (32-15) still have a double-digit lead in the Pacific Coast League’s Pacific Southern division.

And they are still the only Triple-A team with 30 or more wins.

Fresno scored four times in the seventh inning to take the lead for good, using a 2 for 4 performance with three RBIs from Travis Ishikawa.

Cesar Puello went 2 for 5 with a triple for the 51s, and Josh Satin and Allan Dykstra each had two hits.

Las Vegas returns to Cashman Field Friday to face Sacramento, the Triple-A affiliate of the Oakland A’s.
