Sacramento’s Dan Straily limited the Las Vegas 51s to three hits in seven scoreless innings today at Cashman Field, helping the River Cats prevail, 5-2.
Las Vegas (32-17) finally scored in the eighth inning when Andrew Brown plated Omar Quintanilla with an RBI double. Las Vegas also scored with two outs in the ninth on Daniel Muno’s run-scoring double to bring home Taylor Teagarden.
It was the 51s’ fourth straight defeat. They’ll try to snap the streak when the series continues at 12:05 p.m. Sunday and Monday.
