Joe Stinziano, executive vice president of Samsung Electronics of America, introduces a 105-inch, curved UHD television during the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), in Las Vegas, Monday Jan. 6, 2014.

A series of leaked photographs allegedly showing the LCD touch screen of an unreleased Sony smartphone have fueled the rumor mill surrounding next year's International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

Billed as the world's largest consumer technology trade show, CES welcomes more than 3,000 exhibitors showing off their latest cutting edge products every year. At the center of this month's electronics buzz?

Sony's next smartphone: Xperia Z4.

The leaked photos recently landed on the website of Futursupplier, known in the tech community for its pre-launch prowess. It was the same site that leaked photos of the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge.

The Xperia Z4 is rumored to sport 4 GB RAM and a curved Exmor RS CMOS sensor instead of an IMX220 20.7 megapixel camera sensor, according to the International Business Times.

Though Sony has remained silent on the rumors, the mega electronics maker recently announced it would hold a press conference at CES 2015. The conference is set for Monday, Jan. 5 at 5 p.m.
