Suspect sought in robbery of Sunset Station sports book

Henderson Police are trying to identify a suspect in the robbery of the Sunset Station sports book Saturday evening.

The man, armed with a handgun, demanded and received cash from a casino employee about 6 p.m. and then fled on foot, police said.

No one was injured.

Police described the suspect as a muscular white male between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall. He was wearing a dark, long-sleeved T-shirt, gloves and a black baseball hat.

It was the third armed robbery reported in 10 weeks at a Station Casinos property in Southern Nevada.

No arrests have been made in the previous cases.

Metro Police are investigating the 1 a.m. Nov. 9 robbery at gunpoint of a casino cashier and a Sept. 16 heist in which a Palace Station sports betting employee was punched by a man who then ran from the casino.
