Zach Mays kicked three field goals today for the Centennial High football team in a 37-14 victory against Cimarron-Memorial.
Centennial gained more than 400 yards, but had a few drives stall to give Mays some work. He made fields of 31, 35 and 44 yards.
Rhamondre Stevenson rushed for 181 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries for Centennial, and Dylan Hite caught a 54-yard touchdown pass from Jamaal Evans. Juan Rodriguez added a 16-yard touchdown run.
“We ran the ball well, but we couldn’t finish drives,” Centennial coach Leon Evans said. “Good football teams don’t make those mistakes. “
Centennial improved to 6-0 overall and 2-0 in the Northwest League.
