Spencer Wilson rushed for two touchdowns today for the Liberty High football team and the Patriots had two punt returns for a touchdown in a 54-0 win against host Valley.

Bryan Roland and James Christie had the punt returns for scores for the Patriots (5-2 overall, 1-1 Northeast), who led 42-0 at halftime.

Roland, Adam Dimas and Jameson Pasigan caught touchdowns for Liberty.

One week after having a 40-game winning streak against Sunrise opponents snapped with a loss against Canyon Springs, Liberty was able to start a new streak. More important, one week after not scoring, the Patriots had their second highest scoring output on the season.

“Being able to rebound after a loss is important to get your confidence back,” Liberty coach Rich Muraco said.
