Smoke-free casinos in Las Vegas? Absolutely, yes!
Not only will there be a smoke-free casino, the entire strip will be smoke-free.
It would be economic suicide not to change to smoke-free. Only 18 percent of people smoke. That number is shrinking.
Gaming as a percentage of our economy is shrinking.
The areas of food, beverage, entertainment and lodging are growing. All those areas are predominately smoke-free. People are becoming used to smoke-free environments and are not putting up with secondhand smoke.
Continuing to focus on a shrinking demographic and a shrinking profit center would be economically insane.
That’s not even mentioning the fact that it would save countless workers from getting sick. But no one seems to care about that.
