A man found dead Saturday morning near Galleria at Sunset mall has been identified.
The Clark County Coroner's Office said pedestrian Franklin Kent Campbell, 61, died from blunt-force trauma due to being hit by a car.
Campbell was pronounced dead at the scene near Galleria Drive west of Gibson Road, according to Henderson Police. Officers received information on the incident at about 1:30 a.m. and found Campbell lying in the westbound roadway.
Campbell may have been the victim of a hit-and-run, police said. Henderson police are asking that any witnesses to the incident step forward.
