Animal Foundation cuts adoption fees for older dogs as part of Super Bowl promotion

The Animal Foundation is reducing adoption fees for older dogs to $49 this weekend to celebrate Super Bowl XLIX.

The promotion applies to dogs more than 1 year old adopted from Friday to Sunday. The normal adoption fee is from $105 to $250.

“Adopting a homeless dog in need while taking advantage of deeply discounted adoption fees will definitely make your family feel like the big winners this weekend,” said Meghan Scheibe, marketing and public relations manager for the foundation.

The $49 adoption fee covers spaying or neutering, microchipping and vaccinations.

Potential adopters can view animals in the foundation’s online database. Adopters must complete in-person adoption counseling.

Those interested in welcoming a new, furry family member into their home can adopt dogs at the foundation’s adoption center at 655 N. Mojave Road or PetSmart Charities at 286 W. Lake Mead Parkway.
