In this June 3, 2013, file photo, Nevada Assemblywoman Michele Fiore, R-Las Vegas, works in committee during the final day of the 77th Legislative session at the Legislative Building in Carson City.

Republican Assemblywoman Michele Fiore isn’t whistlin’ Dixie — she’s honking it.

The conservative politician made good on a promise from earlier this month to install a horn on her truck that plays the same tune as the General Lee from “Dukes of Hazzard.”

An 11-second video

filmed in a radio station parking lot shows Fiore smiling as she sticks her head out of her truck and honks the horn.

Fiore made the promise amid controversy over the removal the Confederate flag in South Carolina following a racially motivated shooting at a Charleston church that killed nine people.

“The (Confederate) flag is trivial item that represents a part of our history, but it’s just that, OUR HISTORY!” Fiore said in a July 8 email.

During the controversy, TV Land pulled reruns of “Dukes of Hazzard” because the Dodge Charger named General Lee featured a prominent Confederate flag paint job.
