Kerran Dade
Police are looking for an inmate who escaped this afternoon while working with a crew in the eastern Las Vegas Valley.
Kerran Dade, 21, who is serving up to four years for an attempted home invasion, was part of a state Forestry Department work crew when she went missing about 2:45 p.m. near U.S. 95 and Wyoming Avenue, the Nevada Department of Corrections said in a statement.
Dade was admitted to the Jean Conservation Camp for Women on May 12.
The Department of Corrections is investigating the escape.
Anyone with information is urged to contact 911 or a local law enforcement agency.
