Locals can keep cool at these hotel pools

pool Golden Nugget 2011

The Tank pool at the Golden Nugget in downtown Las Vegas.

It’s getting hot. But Las Vegas locals don’t have to go far to cool off.

Instead of paying big bucks for admission to a water park or day club, or road-tripping to a California beach, you can make the most of your summer vacation right here.

Whether you’re searching for a spot to take the kids or a cool place to relax with friends, there are many hotel pools locals can visit for a daily fee or for free with a valid Nevada driver’s license.
