Las Vegas blanks Valley for sixth straight win

Diquan Brown and Elijah Hicks each had two rushing touchdowns today for the Las Vegas High football team in a 49-0 win against host Valley.

Las Vegas (6-1 overall, 2-0 Northeast) also used rushing touchdowns from Ronnie Broadhead and Zacharry Loveland in winning its sixth straight game.

“We played pretty well,” Las Vegas coach James Thurman said. “But we had some (bad) penalties, missed a few tackles and a turnover. We are trying to get better each week.”

Las Vegas also scored on a Zach Matlock touchdown pass to Raul Perez.

Las Vegas hosts Silverado next week.
