Taariq Flowers ran for three touchdowns to propel Del Sol (1-3) to its first win of the season Friday night with a 26-19 victory over Boulder City (1-3).

Senior quarterback Bo Beagle started the scoring for the Dragons, when he converted a 4th and 15 into a touchdown pass early in the first quarter.

After that it became the Flowers show.

Flowers found the end zone on runs of 56, 15 and 54 yards to help the Dragons move up in the Sunrise division standings.

Boulder City quarterback Austin Wishard scored a rushing touchdown in the second quarter to cut the Del Sol lead to seven, but the Dragons answered.

Del Sol led Boulder City 20-10 at halftime and held on for the win despite a late push by the Eagles.

Senior receiver Zach Murphy caught a touchdown, and Justin Fox hit his second field goal of the game to make it a one-score game, but the Eagles fell short.

Up next the Dragons host Chaparral (2-2), and Boulder City takes on red-hot Desert Pines (4-0).
