Fire burns northeast valley home; cause under investigation

Multiple fire crews were working this morning to put out a blaze in the northeast valley, according to the Clark County Fire Department.

According to the fire department:

Crews were called about 9:15 a.m. to a single-family, one-story building at 4155 E. Carey Ave., near North Lamb Boulevard.

Firefighters reported that the structure had high volumes of smoke and flames. The fire department sent out 11 units and 35 personnel from Las Vegas Fire and Rescue and the North Las Vegas Fire Department, and requested two more engines due to the extent of the fire.

The structure appears to be vacant, and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
