Man sought in armed robbery of central valley convenience store

This man is sought in an armed robbery at a central valley convenience store.

Metro Police detectives are looking for a man accused in an early Monday armed robbery at a central valley 7-Eleven.

Officers were called shortly before 1 a.m. to the convenience store in the 500 block of East Sahara Avenue, west of Paradise Road, 911 call logs show.

The armed man entered the store demanding money, police said. He escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash before officers arrived.

He was described as a thin black man in his 30s who stands between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-9. He wore a white T-shirt, a black hooded sweatshirt and gray shorts, police said.
