The sky near Caesars Palace was illuminated with a fireworks display Friday night as the property commemorated its first half-century of operations.
About 3,000 pool guests celebrated with chef Gordon Ramsay serving as a host, the hotel said in a release.
They toasted with champagne, ate a five-tier birthday cake, and watched an actor dressed as Julius Caesar on a horse-drawn chariot.
A torch run led to Ramsay lighting a cauldron; he and property President Gary Selesner then ignited the about 10-minute firework display, according to the news release.
