Republican presidential candidates, from left, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, talk after the Republican presidential primary debate, Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, in Des Moines, Iowa.

Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz is planning at least eight campaign events in Nevada leading up the state's caucuses, and rival Jeb Bush is headed to Nevada the day after the South Carolina primary.

Former Florida Gov. Bush is planning a 5:30 p.m. Sunday town hall meeting in Sun City Summerlin in Las Vegas.

He's then holding a 6 p.m. town hall event Monday at Huffaker Elementary School in Reno.

The events come in the days just before Nevada Republicans head to caucuses on Tuesday.

Cruz's blitz starts with a Sunday afternoon rally in Pahrump.

The Texas senator's Monday schedule includes a rally in the Summerlin community in Las Vegas, an afternoon rally in Elko and an evening rally in Reno.

He's planning rallies Tuesday in Fernley, Minden and Carson City before heading back down to Las Vegas for an evening victory rally.

Republican candidates are expected to descend on the state after Saturday's primary in South Carolina and before Nevada Republicans head to caucuses on Tuesday night.
