One man is dead and another is injured after a fight triggered a shooting at a business in the north valley early Saturday morning.
According to Metro Police:
The victim was inside the business in the 5000 block of East Craig Road about 2:50 a.m. when he approached two men and started a physical confrontation, which later escalated and resulted in the victim being shot numerous times.
He was taken to UMC Trauma, where he was later pronounced dead.
A second man also was struck by gunfire. He was taken to UMC Trauma, where he is listed in stable condition.
The motive and identities of the suspects are unknown.
This incident marks the first homicide investigated by Metro Police this year.
