MINDEN — Two people suffered minor injuries when a small aircraft made an emergency landing at the Minden-Tahoe Airport.
Officials say the pilot performed an emergency landing on the dirt next to the runway on Sunday after he reported damage to a portion of the landing gear.
Battalion Chief Troy Valenzuela with the East Fork Fire Protection District says the plane turned over before coming to a stop upside-down in the landing zone.
The two people inside the plane were safely removed from the aircraft and taken to the hospital for evaluations.
