A Henderson man accused of DUI caused a four-vehicle crash that killed a woman in the east valley late Wednesday, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.

Denis Baldwin, 29, was jailed at the Clark County Detention Center on one count each of DUI and failure to obey a traffic signal, NHP said.

Troopers were called to the U.S. 95 and Flamingo Road northbound offramp about 10:45 p.m., NHP said. A 71-year-old woman died at the scene.

According to NHP, Baldwin was in a blue 2014 Mazda CX-5 when he ran a red light, striking two cars, one of which struck a pickup truck waiting at a red light.

The woman killed was driving a Toyota Camry, NHP said.

Baldwin suffered minor injuries and treated at University Medical Center before his arrest, NHP said.

No bail has been set and Baldwin is scheduled to appear in front of a judge Friday morning.
