Treasure Island is now home to an interactive attraction that takes visitors on a journey through the Avengers superhero franchise.

Called Marvel’s Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N., the immersive exhibit includes a range of props and costumes such as Captain America’s motorcycle, Iron Man suits, Bruce Banner’s laboratory and much more. It had a soft opening May 26, but representatives of the attraction showed it off to the media Tuesday evening. A grand opening will be held Wednesday, June 22.

Visitors wander through rooms themed around Marvel superheroes as they are “trained” to become agents of S.T.A.T.I.O.N., which stands for Scientific Training and Tactical Intelligence Operative Network.

Using either a mobile device provided by the exhibit or by downloading an app available for iOS and Android, visitors can engage with various Avengers artifacts as they learn about the heroes and take short quizzes to test their knowledge. At the end, they can earn an ID badge that’s available for purchase.

The attraction is presented by Victory Hill Exhibitions, which also plans to debut a Transformers-related exhibit in the same area in the coming months. Once it’s all up and running, the exhibits will occupy 28,000 square feet: 14,000 square feet for the Avengers exhibit, 12,000 square feet for Transformers and 2,000 square feet of retail.

Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, with the last entry at 9 p.m., and costs $34 for adults and $24 for children ages 4-11. Children age 3 and under get in free, and active military members with a valid ID can get 15 percent off the adult price.
