A man is sought after he allegedly tried to kidnap a woman Friday night in Pahrump.
According to the Nye County Sheriff’s Office:
The woman and two girls were walking east on Calvada Boulevard near Pahrump Valley Boulevard shortly after 10 p.m. when a man in a truck approached them in a plaza parking lot. He tried to force the woman into the truck; she was able to fight him off and escape to a relative’s home.
The man fled, heading north on Pahrump Valley Boulevard. He is described as black, about 6 feet, 1 inch with a muscular build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, red shoes and white socks. His truck was described as a four-door, black, lifted and possibly a Dodge Ram.
