Two people were hospitalized following a shooting in the parking lot of a west valley business this afternoon, according to Metro Police.
The shooting occurred about 12:30 p.m. in the 600 block of South Rainbow Boulevard, near Alta Drive according to police.
A man was shot in his upper body and a woman in her arm, police said. They were both taken to University Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.
Detectives were at the scene but no arrests had been made according to police.
