Trump is a menace to the environment

What!? At first I thought I heard it wrong. By now, I thought, President Trump had surely educated himself about climate change and how we humans can either positively affect the environment or suffer dire environmental consequences. But by executive order, this man has rolled back the Clean Power Plan and other safeguards that tackle the ever-dangerous climate pollution from fossil fuels.

I feel almost helpless when our president consistently places more importance on the corporate polluters than ordinary people like me, my family, my friends and future generations. Our nation and the world cannot sustain a leader who will not stand up for the environment or the people he is sworn to serve. Shame on President Trump and the people around him who are so selfish and shortsighted as not to see that their actions will destroy our environment.
