No one was injured when a gunshot was fired near Cimarron-Memorial High School Monday afternoon, according to Metro Police.
Police said a shot was fired in an unknown direction about 1:45 p.m. in the immediate vicinity of the school, located at 2301 N. Tenaya Way, near Smoke Ranch Road.
No impact from the bullet was found, but police said they recovered a shell casing in the area.
School was out during the time of the shooting.
