Henderson Police identified this man as a suspect in the robbery of a 7-Eleven convenience store at 1400 W. Horizon Ridge Parkway about 10:45 p.m. Monday, April, 24, 2017.

Henderson Police are trying to identify a suspect in the armed robbery of a 7-Eleven convenience store earlier this week.

The robbery occurred about 10:45 p.m. Monday at the 7-Eleven at 1400 W. Horizon Ridge Parkway, police said.

The suspect pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money from the register, police said. He took an undisclosed amount of cash and left on foot, police said.

Nobody was injured.

The suspect was described as about 30 years old, 6 feet tall and 225 pounds. He was wearing black pants, a black hoodie sweatshirt, a red and blue baseball cap and a gold chain with a large cross around his neck, police said.
