Somehow I missed the changes to our Constitution that allow for two presidents.
I did a lot of research, and nowhere did I find the action taken to allow the country to have a joint presidency. There may be more that I missed, as I have also just discovered that our State Department has a dual staff too. One part speaks English and the other is a tweeter bird that only has 140 characters in its language. It seems a man-child who thinks he has all the answers and fixes for the world’s problems can just send out unedited stuff now. We have been blessed with a great repairer and swamp cleaner, and that has made even the stock market go nuts.
Those of us who are not blessed with great brains and the ability to run a rather complicated country (without having the benefits of intelligence and knowledge of the intricacies of such an undertaking) should be forever grateful to have the good fortune to have such a great man soon be our nation’s leader. By some rare happenstance I read a paper, watched and listened to news and didn’t know that the country had already made the change at head of the country. Is this Jan. 20? Must have been sleeping like Rip Van Winkle and missed this grand event.
Perhaps sleeping pills will let me get to 2020. How can we put people to work on jobs being done by robots? How can companies making all their products overseas bring back the other jobs when they do not bring their stuff back? Do they get a tax of 35 percent on the imports? Too bad!
