Stabbing in southeast valley critically injures man

A man suffered critical injuries in a stabbing this afternoon during a fight in the southeast valley, according to Metro Police.

Officers were dispatched about 3:45 p.m. to the area of Tropicana Avenue and San Anselmo Street, near Nellis Boulevard, spokesman officer Larry Hadfield said. The victim, only described as being in his 20s, was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in critical condition.

The suspect, only identified as a man, fled the scene in a silver Honda-style car prior to the officers’ arrival, Hadfield said.
