A man who fatally stabbed a family member during a fight this morning appeared to be acting in self-defense, according to Metro Police.
A fight broke out about 11:30 a.m. today between two male family members at a house in the 4200 block of Warbonnet Way, near Buffalo Drive and Flamingo Road, police said. Both men were injured in the fight, with one being stabbed, police said.
The man who was stabbed was taken to Spring Valley Hospital before being transferred to University Medical Center, where he died, police said.
The other man was taken to UMC and treated for his injuries before being interviewed by detectives, police said. He was not arrested, and police said it appeared he was acting in self-defense.
