Big League Weekend Baseball

Chicago Cubs’ player Kris Bryant (17) readies to bat during their Big League Weekend baseball game versus the New York Mets at Cashman Field on Thursday, March 31, 2016. He is a Las Vegas native and one of baseball brightest, young stars.

Because the celebrations of a World Series title continued, the honeymoon is on hold.

But Kris Bryant said the wedding was beautiful.

The Cubs third baseman and the 2016 National League MVP added to a busy offseason by marrying Jessica Delp in front of many of his Cubs teammates on Jan. 7 in his hometown of Las Vegas.

The group was reunited five days later at the Cubs' annual convention in Chicago, leaving the newlyweds, who began dating in high school, no time for an extended post-wedding getaway.

Bryant suggested that maybe next year, a Cubs motto of old, the two would find time.

In the meantime, Bryant released a short teaser video of the couple's wedding on Instagram on Monday night.

In it, the two are shown kissing, dancing and exchanging vows, with Bryant dressed in -- what else? -- a blue tuxedo.

"Can't wait for the whole thing," Bryant tweeted in reference to seeing the entire video.

Perhaps not coincidentally, the couple was married on 1-7-17. Bryant wears No. 17 for the Cubs, who are fresh off their first World Series title since 1908.
