Carlos Santana resumes his House of Blues residency this week.

Country icon Willie Nelson canceled his Saturday and Sunday shows at the Venetian due to illness — he’s still scheduled to perform Feb. 1, 3 and 4 — but there are other legendary performers to catch in Las Vegas this weekend, as well as a new show on the Strip, some guaranteed laughs and more.

AN INTIMATE EVENING WITH SANTANA: GREATEST HITS LIVE The House of Blues at Mandalay Bay recently announced additional 2017 performance dates for guitar legend Carlos Santana, marking five years of his concerts at the classic music hall. TENORS OF ROCK The first-ever resident production in the Showroom at Harrah’s Las Vegas made its debut Jan. 19, featuring five British singers (you might recognize them from The X Factor UK) plus a full band, special effects and dancers, all delivering electrifying reimaginations of theatrical rock classics from “Bohemian Rhapsody” to “Sweet Child O’ Mine.” Tenors of Rock continues Wednesdays through Sundays indefinitely. YEAR OF THE ROOSTER AT LUCKY DRAGON If you haven’t yet visited the newest casino-hotel on the Las Vegas Strip — OK, technically it’s just off the Strip on Sahara Avenue — the time is right this weekend. ONE NIGHT. THREE EXHIBITIONS. FIFTY YEARS. And now for something completely different … UNLV’s Marjorie Barrick Museum is changing its name to the Barrick Museum of Art to celebrate its 50th birthday. It’s also unveiling three exhibitions this weekend curated by Matthew Gardocki, Karen Roop and Lee Cannarozzo, as well as a display of newspaper clippings and historic photographs that explore the evolution of the museum from humble Maryland Parkway building to the prime destination for contemporary art in Las Vegas.
