Public transit information for Las Vegas and other urban areas of Nevada is included in the latest version of Apple Maps rolled out on Tuesday.

The app allows users to find data on times, stops and routes for Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) buses and the Las Vegas Monorail.

Maps for tourists looking for popular destinations on the Strip, downtown and other areas of interest are more handy with the use of special icons. Motorists can use the search function to find coffee shops, gas stations and electric vehicle-charging stations.

The app also offers public transit options in Reno, Sparks and Carson City.

The transit tab launched with iOS 9 in 2015 and now has more than 40 metro areas in the U.S. after continued expansion with iOS 10. The expansion also included extensions to allow users to make dinner reservations or book ride-sharing services from within Apple Maps.

Later this year, the iOS 11 update will provide users with detailed indoor maps for malls and airports, according to an Apple press release.
