Nile Rodgers and Chic perform at the Pearl this weekend.

Bruno Mars is back on the Strip this weekend, but he’s not playing at his Las Vegas home at the Park Theater. This is the 24K Magic World Tour and it stops at T-Mobile Arena Saturday night, and you’ll have to check StubHub or Flash Seats if you’re gonna scrape up some tickets. Maybe you catch Bruno at the Park in September, but you don’t have to wait until then to catch an amazing concert. Here are some musical events and new shows happening this weekend.

MEN OF THE STRIP This brand-new male revue from former boy-bander Jeff Timmons (98 Degrees) and choreographer Glenn Douglas Packard was originally set for the Tropicana’s Havana Room but has found a new home at the Hard Rock Café on the Strip, across from Monte Carlo. Expect plenty of personality and energy from Timmons’ “six-pack” of dancers as they start this limited engagement Friday night. July 14-16, 21, 27 and 28, info at hardrock.com.

LEE ANN WOMACK She has six studio albums, a 2003 Grammy and a 2001 Song of the Year award from the Academy of Country Music for “I Hope You Dance.” Lee Ann Womack also has one of country music’s favorite voices. Later this month she teams with Patty Griffin for an acoustic tour, but catch her while you can Friday night at the Tropicana Theater. July 14, info at 800-829-9034 or troplv.com.

THRONES! THE MUSICAL PARODY It’s okay to be a little excited about the return of HBO’s mega-hit Game of Thrones on Sunday night. But seeing Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen again will be that much sweeter if you catch this hilarious send-up, a production that has sold-out the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and London’s Leicester Square Theater before touring Chicago and Los Angeles. Where would such a show find a home in Las Vegas? The Space, of course. July 14-23, info at 702-903-1070 or thespacelv.com.

GOO GOO DOLLS The Long Way Home is an apt name for this multiplatinum band’s current trek, which begins Friday in California and swings through the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center Saturday night. Not only will concertgoers hear tracks from new EP You Should Be Happy, they’ll also get a set from American Idol champ Phillip Phillips. July 15, info at 800-745-3000 or dlvec.com.

CHIC It’s the second straight July in Las Vegas for the legendary Nile Rodgers, who visited last year when he took Chic on the road with Duran Duran and stopped at Mandalay Bay. This time, it’s all Chic, so get ready for some “Good Times” at the Pearl at the Palms Sunday night. July 16, info at 702-944-3200 or at ticketmaster.com.
