CARSON CITY — A prisoner who escaped from a firefighting camp on Wednesday has been captured in the unincorporated community of Ryndon, east of Elko, according to the state Department of Corrections.
Jordan S. Redger, 27, was found at a home Friday evening and tried to avoid capture by running out the back of the residence, officials said.
Redger, serving a 12- to 36-month term for car theft in Elko County, was reported missing from the camp between Wells and Elko when he didn’t show up for breakfast.
