A teen has been arrested in the death of a woman found stabbed earlier this month at her apartment near Vegas and Torrey Pines drives, according to jail booking logs.
Steven Olsen, 18, was booked Thursday at the Clark County Detention Center, where he was being held without bail on a count of murder, jail logs show.
Someone who heard a woman screaming inside an apartment in the 1700 block of Rockcrest Drive called 911 shortly before 9 a.m. on July 9, according to Metro Police.
Officers climbed a wall and got into the apartment through an open back door, police said. They found the body of Lizzette Schley, 45, with multiple stab wounds, police said.
Police said there was no evidence of a forced entry.
