Reasons for not helping Trump
Our nation is in political turmoil, and Republicans are constantly blaming Democrats because we are not helping President Donald Trump to succeed.
There is a very good reason we are reluctant to get behind Trump: The GOP’s constant belittlement of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, and for what reason? They are not in the White House and for the most part are out of politics.
Another reason is because of his campaign rhetoric: “crooked Hillary,” “dirty Hillary” and “Lock her up!”
I viewed these as nasty slurs, and I feel certain many millions more feel the same way.
Trump has proven to me that he is a buffoon with weird hair in a dark suit and red necktie.
Humans would not, but buffoons would insists on being rewarded with high praise from everyone they come in contact with.
Maybe if he stopped criticizing the media, his past and present Cabinet members, and pitch his Twitter, I might show him a little more respect but it would still give me cause for concern because of his apparent affection for Vladamir Putin and other dictators.
I look at him in a little better light because he referred to the GOP Health Care Plan as mean. If the GOP passes this plan and he would veto it, this might help me accept him as president, but for now I do not.
He has proven to me that his instincts are much stronger than his respect for law and country.
