A Henderson middle school teacher arrested Tuesday is accused of having “inappropriate discussions” with three female students, according to police.

Jeffrey Schultz, 47, a science teacher at Brown Middle School, was arrested on a warrant on three misdemeanor counts of annoyance, molestation or indecency toward a minor, Henderson Police said.

He was booked at the Henderson Detention Center and released after posting bail, Officer Scott Williams said.

Investigators were called to the school on Feb. 9 to look into the allegations, police said. The students, ages 13 to 14, reported that Schultz asked them to stick around after class because he wanted to speak privately to them, police said.

That’s when Schultz allegedly “engaged in inappropriate discussions” with them, “causing the girls to feel uncomfortable and threatened,” police said.
