Vegas Golden Knights general manager George McPhee speaks during a news conference Wednesday, March 1, 2017, in Las Vegas. The NHL expansion team can now begin making trades and signing free agents for next season.

The list of players available to the Vegas Golden Knights in the expansion draft in June will be made public, the NHL announced today.

“Protected and Available Lists for Expansion Draft will be made public simultaneously with their distribution to Clubs. Date TBD,” according to a tweet from the NHL public relations account.

The lists are expected to be submitted by 2 p.m. on June 17.

The Golden Knights and General Manager George McPhee will then have three days to make selections, which will be announced at a public event at T-Mobile Arena on June 21.

The Golden Knights will select one player from each of the league’s 30 teams — 14 forwards, nine defenders and three goalies.
